to hold onto in life
Each couple has a story. Ours started on July 15th 2005 when I realized I wanted to marry her. I was so excited I wanted to tell my best friend, so I turned to Loraine and got down on my knees and told her how I felt. -Josh

On a lovely late summer afternoon, we arrived at the LDS Kansas City Temple grounds to find the flowerbeds fully blossomed! The droplets of water poured out from higher parts of the fountain to the next. The fountain and the landscaping were, as usual, beautifully manicured! As we arrived before the sealing before the sealing […]
I can’t believe that we are actually at the last part of Priya and Ashish’s wedding! Their Indian wedding reception. The large vases—which was part of the hotel—literally had flowers pouring out from the top. And the guest list… Priya loved the concept of having a picture of the two of them with all of […]
Just before the sisters niece and cousin of the bride walk down the aisle and procession Rhythm of Dreams started off by singing and hosting the Indian Wedding ceremony. Then after the groom entered with both his mother and soon-to-be mother-in-law his family started a protein with gifts to the bride. Indian Wedding Ceremony I […]
Getting ready for an Indian wedding is a process. There is the hair, the makeup, the gifts, the jewelry, the hair pieces, the outfit, and so forth. When I arrive to Priya’s room, she was curled up on a chair writing a note to Ashish inside of the lid of a shoebox for his gift! […]
Getting ready for Garba Night When I arrive to Priya’s room at the agreed time her hair was already pinned up with her beautiful orange floral hair piece by White Carpet Bride. She was getting her final touches by Ayesha. So I quickly laid out her bangles, anklet, and perfume for the night. Mind you, […]
How many times will you get married to the same person? How about marrying the same person five times?! Now add one more factor, committing to marriage to the same person five times without a single divorce. I want to approach today’s post a little differently because I love the sentiment behind this […]

[…]
Every now and then we get to work with outstanding Kansas City wedding professionals. Because we love working with the ones that out-perform themselves, we like to tell Kansas City why they’re great. This could help them realize why they may want to consider them for their wedding or event. This morning we want to […]
This Kansas engagement session took place in Shawnee Mission Park in Lenexa KS, a huge park you could spend an entire day taking pictures there and still have lots of other places to go and fall in love with. Not just for photographers to fall in love with because of its eye-candy, but for the couples to hold hands, go for a stroll, and laugh with each other.
Though this was not our first time taking pictures at the Uptown Theater in downtown Kansas City, it certainly was the first time we took pictures in this part of the theater! And wow were we blown away! We were blown away from the printed goodies from bp creative group to the intricate detail inside […]
