to hold onto in life
Each couple has a story. Ours started on July 15th 2005 when I realized I wanted to marry her. I was so excited I wanted to tell my best friend, so I turned to Loraine and got down on my knees and told her how I felt. -Josh

Sheraton Overland Park KS Indian Sangeet- Meher and Alex
As usual, Meher is stunning, but when Josh and I picked them up from the Sheraton in Overland Park KS, I was floored when I saw how gorgeous she looked! Her outfit was a lovely aqua blue and gold with his being two-toned blue. Meher chose this trail to take pictures because it is one that she and her family used to run growing up. Such a perfect setting to take her husband-to-be moments before there Indian sangeet. We loved the look the trees gave and how tranquil the trail actually is. A perfect setting for this amazing couple!
Back at the Sheraton Meher and Alex were greeted by many guests in the lobby area as they waited for the grand entrance. And what an entrance! You can tell that thing started to become real for Meher at this point as she struggled to fight some tears back as she walked up to Alex surrounded by her sister cousins, and best friends.
Indian ceremonies are not just colorful they are filled with so much family love and so many fun performances and delicious food! I love that even though Alex’s family is mainly British they too decided to participate in the performances as well. All the toasts and performances were beautifully executed and the couple gave out many many hugs to their friends and family.
And then Meher went onto the dancefloor. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only girl drooling over her toned arms! I think I even did a few camera lifts throughout the night. And then Alex “creped” onto the dance floor. He seemingly plead for her to dance with him for the rest of the song. Again I cannot tire saying that Alex’s family and he himself truly embraced the Indian culture he is marrying into. The rest of the night was filled with more dancing and many interactions between the two families. Many smiles, hugs, and selfies throughout the night!
