to hold onto in life
Each couple has a story. Ours started on July 15th 2005 when I realized I wanted to marry her. I was so excited I wanted to tell my best friend, so I turned to Loraine and got down on my knees and told her how I felt. -Josh

Kansas City Temple Wedding Photographers- Charis and David
Josh and I love being Kansas City Temple wedding photographers. We know the rules on temple ground and respect the covenants we make within its walls. We actually attend church in the Stake Center next to the temple. It is a blessing to see the temple multiple times weekly. We love temple weddings! It may be because the Kansas City Temple is only minutes away from our home or it may be because Josh and I were sealed together in the Provo Temple ourselves. We are always happy to accommodate such temple weddings in our calendar whenever possible! We believe in the covenants we make within its walls, and love to attend the temple ourselves to remind us of such covenants and others as well of course.
After being part of a Friday wedding, I checked my voice message on Saturday and received a message of a couple getting married that very afternoon at the Kansas City LDS Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Thankfully, I was available and was able to help the couple. Even though I do prefer to shoot every wedding with Josh, he was not available and I took this one on by myself.
This day Charis and David were all smiles. So were their family and friends who came with them to share their the day that starts their forever. They all expressed gratitude and relief as they saw me on the temple grounds since their prior photography arrangements had fallen through.
They could not have chosen a better day or time! It was a beautiful sunny day! And since it was in the afternoon, it wasn’t too sunny. The flowers we perfectly gorgeous as usual (I seriously need to volunteer to help with the temple grounds so I can refine my landscaping skills!)
Charis and David looked so in love! They were great to work with in spite of having met them that very day. In our 9+ years in business, we rarely just meet the couple for the first time on their wedding day. We typically meet with couples at least twice before their wedding day in person. So meeting them for the first time and them being just like most of our Mojica couples was a bonus.
