The Hunt is Over- Engagement Session on Hunting Grounds

One of the most blissful things that happened to us a little over 10 years ago for me was that it was finally over! No more hunting for the right guy. No more weighing the pros and cons while playing the dating game! But for some, the hunt is still on-engaged or not! Hunting for food that is! I love it when I meet a couple where the groom really wants to dedicate a part of the engagement session to something he is passionate about and in this case it is hunting, specifically with crossbows! I wanted to make sure that this part of the shoot did not have any clichés and that still was tasteful so Josh and I brought our lighting gear to aim toward epic shots with a clean classic look while, at the same time, Josh focused on the candid moments in between the poses with natural lighting.

I simply loved her Under Armour camo outfit! It was a nice merge of fashion and function for hunting ❤

The timing was perfect in every way! The clouds, sunset and weather. We couldn’t have asked for a better scenario to go for a shoot {pun not intended but worked really well}.

couple hunting

Just in case you wondered, we did not do any hunting that day, Sydney and Cory were the only targets on our list during the shoot. 🙂 Best part of this hunting story is that I am so excited for them, because they no longer need to be out on the hunt for someone they want to spend their lives with, their story has only begun.

I’d love to read “hunting” stories, namely how couples met and proposed, if you have a fun story, please share!
