Now, on to Day FIVE: It was an impeccable day at the Marriott on Metcalf in Overland Park, KS. There was a moment where there was a down pour and electrical storm, however, the clouds were perfectly fluffy right when we needed them to look amazing.
Brinder went with Ayesha with Work of Art- Makeup Artistry by Ayesha Baig to do her makeup! Amazing choice! I loved the look!!
After Ayesha left, her hair stylist Mikayla Crane with Be Chic Bride was up to bat to create yet another beautiful style for Brinder.
I loved watching the love between friends who were practically sisters 🙂
So after the hair and makeup are done and she’s all dressed up to party, what doe Brinder do?! She starts to iron her hubby’s shirt so that he could look his very best as well! Amar has a gem for a wife!
I simply LOVED how everything came together in the ballroom! The venue’s event coordinator was on her toes all night long and truly did a great job in helping everything look great! The Sofa and pillars were provided by DJ Apanasangeet, the up lighting and music of the night were by DJ Hans, and the flowers were brought by KP Event Design. I loved how they accentuated the place with tall crystal wrapped vases containing coral hydrangea and coral carnations! They also added flowers to the cake and stage using hydrangea, roses, spray roses, seeded euc and scabiosa pods. I’m impressed with the back drops and runners and the linens also coming from KP Event Design.
Just before heading down mom, dad, and a few family members were able to make their way up to have a sneak peak at the bride and groom.
Then we had a few moments to take pictures of just the couple, because at this point guests were already trickling into the venue, we decided to keep her “hiding” from guests until the grand entrance,
Cake designed by Baked Expressions! I wish I could have tried it, but we were just too busy for the rest of the night. 🙂
Jupji did an outstanding job on the dholi! After the DJ was packing up his gear, Jupji kept the party going with his beat! It was super fun seeing the guests who stayed around later to continue dancing!
They had outstanding performance by UBC Captains, and Brinder’s cousins!
And of course, after the performances were done, the dance floor was open and it started to rain money! A lot!!
This was the scene throughout most of the night: the tables empty and the dance floor was packed beyond it’s designated area!
I love being able to steal our couples for a few shots before the end of the night! The moment we first saw this wall shortly after the lobby was renovated, I envisioned using it for indoor shots of the bride and groom. SO glad we were able to pull them away from dancing for a few minutes!
Then there was a dance off!
We hope you enjoyed Brinder and Amar’s wedding week. I enjoyed posting them daily for friends, family and visitors to enjoy! I know we did. Tell us which day was your favorite, we love to read comments!
